WHY TREES
FOR GRADUATES?

Tree planting has never been more critical than now. We believe milestones should be celebrated with trees. Graduations are a perfect moment to remember nature's importance and impact on the world.

Planting a Tree

GROWTH WITH YOUR TREE

We're encouraging people to gift Trees for Graduates as an analogy of growth & to offset the carbon generated whilst they studied. The average student produces approximately 2.67 tonnes of carbon per year. A tree absorbs approximately 25kg of Carbon Dioxide. Therefore it will take a tree 106 years to capture one year of study.

According to Defra, water quality in the UK has plateaued since 2016. Trees for Graduates aims to plant Graduation trees in strategically important locations within catchment areas. By increasing biodiversity around water courses, more nutrients are created that repopulate rivers and streams, sustaining precious habitats.

RIGHT TREE RIGHT PLACE

Our planters work to harmonise with the landscape and complex habitats with sensitivity. This means planting the right tree in the right place. There is a huge range of tree species that will last a very long time and should, with any luck, germinate and multiply.
